Alone In The Night
Verse 1.
Alone in the night you feel tension in the air I feel it too
You have suspicions that all of your friends have just walked out on you
Oh they say they're with you they'd never let you down well that's easy to say
But again and again you're finding out it only turns out one way
Chorus:
It's just you alone in the night
Finding out that nobody's by your side
Like a wolf alone in the night
Alone in the night can't take the pain
Got to find someone before I go insane
I'm so ALONE
Verse 2.
A loner you never could fit in no one gave you the chance
They call you rebel say you're out of control but that's just your stance
As the years go by all your feelings die now you're cold - cold as stone
But that's what happens to all of us when you're forced to walk alone
Repeat Chorus:
Ending:
I'm so alone I'm so alone
So alone

"Alone In The Night" - This one goes way back to the late '80's. It was actually the very first song I wrote lyrics to, as up to then I co-wrote songs with my mom. I remember writing this in a high school class after a particularly rough night of feeling way too much drama with friends. "As the years go by all your feelings die now you're cold - cold as stone, but that's what happens to all of us when we're forced to walk alone"
