Calm Before The Storm
Verse 1.
She walked into the crowded room - smoke filled the air
Popularity was her god - right or wrong she did not care
But soon the end it came - without a sound
All the friends she thought she had - they were not around
She saw a Man - she heard of long ago
With tear filled eyes - He said you I do not know
Pre-Chorus:
What more can do - when life has turned on you
Tell me now is it true
Chorus:
It's the calm before the storm
One night and it's all gone
The calm before the storm
One night you're gone - you're gone
Verse 2.
When the sirens came - she was scared but felt no pain
Everything just turned to black
She saw the car in flames - childhood memories bring back pain
Now she knows she can't go back
Verse 3.
She saw her life go by - through a child's eyes
Now she's overcome with fear
The tears roll down her face - because she knows this place
She cries and cries but no one hears
Verse 4.
And now it's time to choose - because it could be you
Are you going to slam the door
Will you stand there proud - and scream there is no God
You say there's no Hell but are you sure
Pre-Chorus:
What more can you do - when life has turned on you
Tell me now is it true
Chorus:
It's the calm before the storm
One night and it's all gone
The calm before the storm
One night you're gone - you're gone

Bill's thoughts on this song:
Calm Before The Storm is a sad song about a girl that was given chance after chance to hear about Jesus and the Way to Heaven and chose to turn Him away. She chose popularity over the Truth and after a fatal car crash she finds out 3 seconds after death that Heaven and Hell are very real places. It would have been sooo easy to accept Jesus but now it's too late for her... a song of warning.
Tell me now is it true.
